The Acer is back into the laptop market with a new innovation.This time a notebook with 3D display options.The model name is Acer 5738D.This will be the first 3D capable notebook to hit the market.The laptop comes with a 15.6 inch LED widescreen.It is powered by a 2.1Ghz dual core Intel Processor.The other specifications are 4GB DDR2 RAM, a built-in ATI 4570 graphics processor, 500GB hard drive, DVD writer, 1.3 megapixel Web cam, Gigabit LAN, 3G options, memory card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth etc.

The Acer 5738D uses a three pillar system that relies upon a 3D film coating on the display, polarising glasses and software to display videos, games and photos in 3D.
