The dates for CAT 2009 is published.The test will be online (computer based) and will be held over 10 days starting from November 28 2009 to december 7 2009.The candidates have the flexibility to choose a test date between the given period based on availability.The candidate can decide the date and venue of the test based on his convenience.

CAT will be conducted in 30 centres.The advertisements will come in newspapers from August 30th 2009.This year,instead of buying CAT bulletins,the candidates will have to buy scratch cards cum vouchers,after which he can register on the website with the secret code in the scratch card.The card will cost Rs 1,400 for general category and Rs.700 for SC and ST candidates.

Procedure of Registration

• Buy the Scratch card from the outlets(The list of outlets will be available in news papers from august 30th).
• Visit the website and register with the secret code given in the scratch card.
• Fix the time and venue of the exam.
