Asus has announced its new limited edition of EEE PC Seashell 1008 .The notebook costs approximately Rs 27,000 excluding taxes in India.The lap is based on Intel Atom pine Trail platform.
EEE PC Seashell 1008 has a stylish Digi wave chasis with ripping lines.The Seashell comes in different colours from shades of bronze,coffee brown with gold glitter srrinkles.
EEE PC Seashell 1008 has 1.66ghz Intel Atom Pineview N450 microprocessor along with Intel NM10 Express chipset and 2GB DDR 2 memory.The set has chiclet keyboard.It has a 10.1″ WSVGA screen that supports 1024×600 pixel resoln.
The other features include in built 3 mp webcam,Wi-Fi,digital array microphone,bluetooth 2.1,LAN
port 2.0 USB,multimedia card reader,HD audio codec etc.
The drawback may be the battery life of only 6 hrs where as many other netbooks offer 10 hrs.
