Google identified a new trojan last day.The trojan plays with the advertising program of google called adsense.The name of this new trojan is FFSearcher.I will explain you how it works.I guess you are a webmaster and you are a bit familiar with google adsense.Google provides search boxes for webmasters to put it in their websites.If a visitor of that website make a search on the search box,the webmaster will get money.He can earn more of the visitors clicks the search results.
The new trojan named “FFsearcher” exploits this facility.Suppose this trojan affected your machine,all your future google search s will be channeled or performed through the search box of another website called My Web Way which uses google search widget.Obviously the owner of this website will be the author of this new trojan and he is making huge revenue out of adsense. My Web Way appeared to be no longer active as of Wednesday afternoon.FFSearcher works with the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers.
