Google,the internet giant is all set to unveil an exciting feature to its dominant search engine.The new facility Adds Live Updates to search Results.This will range from updates posted on social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace to updates posted in news portals.Google officials announced that there are into the field of real time search and in the next few days its users would being seeing some changes.The changes will be like brand-new tweets, blog items, news articles and social networking updates in results for certain topical searches.
Google signed formal partnerships with Twitter,Facebook and Myspace to bring the updates as quickly as possible into the search index.
Facebook has announced that they are not earning any money from the deal and they will only provide updates from the public profile pages to google,which can already be seen by anyone on the Web.
They assured that they wont sell any private data of the users.
Twitter has made a search engine for themselves in the site.But the officials accepted the fact that ,they cant compete with google in the search engine technology and people will get more out of twitter if we are doing it with google.On the other hand twitter also signed a contract with Microsoft for making live updates in the bing search engine.
The new google feature will be very useful when the time of calamities like earth quakes,flood etc when people constantly updates data about the incident.
Google also announced many other new feaures to its search engine.The most striking one is Google Goggles, allows people to send Google a cellphone photograph of, say, a landmark or a book, and have information about the contents of the image returned to them instantly.
