Google Page Index

What is your Google page index?

Your Google page index is simply the number of pages from your website that Google has in its database (index).
This is also referred to as Search Engine Saturation or SE Saturation i.e. how much of your site has been seen by the SE.

How do you improve your Google page index (SE Saturation)?

There are three linking strategies that will help you get all your web pages indexed in Google.

1.       Navigational / internal links

2.       Site Map links from home page or Google sitemaps.

3.       One-way inbound links

A) If your site already ranks well in Google:

Site Map:
If you have pages that you would like Google to see / index, build a site map and link to those pages from your sitemap.

Navigational / Internal Links:
Linking from one page to the next will help Google follow and index all the pages that needs indexing.

B) If your site does not rank well in Google, or if you have trouble getting certain pages indexed:

·          External Links:
Linking from an external high ranking websites is one of the best ways to get your pages noticed.
Buy one-way inbound links

·          Links to your home page:
Pointing links to your home page will not only strengthen your web ranking, but will also point Google’s robots to your website and cause then to index every page that they can see linking from your home page.

·          Deep linking:
Linking from an external website directly to a sub pages on your site (deep linking), will insure that the page in question gets seen / indexed by Google. Your sub page search ranking will also improve.
