Hyundai Motors India is all set to replace its mid size sedan Hyundai Elantra with a new launch called Hyundai Avante.The new machine Hyundai Avante was showcased earlier this year on DelhiAuto Expo 2008.The new Hyundai Avante will be available in two variants,2 litre petrol engine and a 1.6 litre diesel engines.The new car from hyundai will be priced between 9 Lakh and 11 Lakh.
The launch of this new car from hyundai is expected to be in july 2009.It would fall in the segment of Toyota Corolla,Honda Civic,Chevrolet Optra,SKoda Octavia etc.Avanta has already startedreplacing Elantra around the globe and now it shall do the same in India as well. Hyundai currently has only one car in the executive segment.
Hyundai Motors India being the second largest car manufacturer in India already made india as is export hub for small hatch backs.Now it plans to capture a larger market share by unveilingnew models in the luxury car segment.They also introduced Hyundai Tucson in India recently as its compant SUV which also falls in the luxury car segment.
