Mercedes Benz India is all set to unveil its C-class saloon with the new C200 CGI(Stratified charge gasoline injection) engine.This will be the Benz ‘s first common rail petrol engine technology in india.CGI replaces the four in line Kompressor technology.The Price of Benz C Class is expected to be 28.44 lakh.

The C200 CGI delivers 11.74kpl and carbon dioxide emission is 201grams per km which is seven percent less than the previous models there by making the car echo friendly too.With the new facilities ,the car can run with excess air there by increasing fuel efficiency.The Benz official ‘s said that this launch is as a part of companies intention to synch their new launches with the echo friendly culture.CGI tech is the first of its kind in the world to use petrol direct injection engines where the piezo injectors deliver multiple injections.The engine has four catalysers and a series of in-engine measures which ensures that it meets current emmission regulations.
